Fran married Joseph Karpiej in 1996. She is the mother of two grown children and grandmother of three. Fran and her husband, Joe, are co-directors of Sharing Christ Ministry, a Spiritual Renewal Ministry within the Catholic Church.  She worked as a legal secretary prior to her becoming Diocesan Liaison to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Bridgeport Diocese (1985-1997). Fran has served more than 30 years on Diocesan, National and International levels in Healing Prayer Ministry, and has given numerous seminars, prayer services and retreats on the many aspects of God’s healing love and presence. Now, as a respected Retreat Director, she gives retreats throughout the country using a blend of contemplative and charismatic gifts. Music and creative prayer services is an integral part of her ministry; and her personal testimony gives witness to God’s power working in us today for the good of future generations.
