Deacon Robert L. Gallo has been an ordained deacon of the Diocese of Providence for 30 years. He holds Masters Degrees in Spanish, Literature and Religious Studies. After retiring from teaching Spanish in public secondary schools for 25 years, Deacon Robert entered full time ministry to the Hispanics of the Diocese of Providence. Over the course of his 30 years of service, his ministries have included prison, parish, and Hispanic ministry. Deacon Robert is also a Vietnam Veteran. His current assignment is deacon assistant at St. Bartholomew Parish in Providence. Frances A. Gallo is the Deputy Superintendent of Providence Public Schools. She holds a Masters Degree in Education and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Dr. Gallo has served in the education field for over 30 years. She is an experienced teacher and principal in both public and parochial schools. Robert and Frances have three children and four granddaughters.
