The annual awarding of the St. Edmund’s Medal of Honor for service to the Church and local community is an important event for the St. Edmund’s Retreat and local and regional communities. This event celebrates lives filled with grace and virtue – lives that reflect the legacy of St. Edmund, Archbishop of Canterbury and patron of St. Edmund’s Retreat.

The St. Edmund Honor Scholarship is also presented at this event to a junior at St. Bernard School in Uncasville, CT in memory of the members of the Society of St. Edmund who served as faculty and staff members of St. Bernard.
