St. Edmund’s Retreat began offering recovery programs in 1968. Today, more than half of the Island’s annual visitors are members of the 12 Step community, including Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Al Anon, and Adult Children of Alcoholics. The stakes are enormous – alcohol and drug addictions cost society billions of dollars in lost productivity and health expenses.
Providing facilities for 12 Step meetings, retreats, and special events involves most of the facilities on Enders Island. St. Edmund’s Retreat absorbs much of the cost to provide these services. As with all our programs, no one is turned away for lack of funds.
We rely on the support of grants, sponsors and individual donations to ensure that these programs are available to all who need to be here. Please consider a sponsorship or contribution to recovery programs today.
