Director of Programs
Tracie first met Fr. Tom in 1980 while she and her future husband Rick were students at St. Michael’s College and Fr. Tom was head of campus ministry. Years later, when Fr. Tom arrived in Mystic, they reconnected, and he asked Tracie to join the island staff as a volunteer coordinator. Tracie went on to work in many other capacities throughout the years including kitchen management, housekeeping, and special events. During this time, little Joshua – the fifth of six Georgetti children and Fr. Tom’s Godson – became immortalized on the strawberry jam label, which has since been named “Joshua’s Favorite.” In 2006, Tracie left the island to teach, work with people who have been through traumatic brain injuries, and devote more time to her children. In 2015, Tracie returned to Enders Island as the Director of Programs. She is thrilled to be back, and has expressed that it felt like coming home.
